Job description
Working as an Oracle Expert you will:
- Design, implement, and maintain Oracle Exadata infrastructure to ensure high availability, scalability, and performance.
- Perform capacity planning, tuning, patching, and upgrades of Oracle databases within Exadata.
- Troubleshoot complex performance issues and optimize SQL queries and database configurations.
- Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless database integration.
- Define and implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures.
- Monitor system health and proactively identify risks or points of failure.
- Ensure compliance with security policies, including data encryption and access control.
- Support automation of operational processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual work.

Qualifications:
- Have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Exadata as an administrator or architect.
- Demonstrate deep understanding of Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, RMAN, and GoldenGate.
- Be proficient in performance tuning (SQL, PL/SQL) and database optimization strategies.
- Understand Exadata architecture (storage cells, smart scan, hybrid columnar compression).
- Have experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) for monitoring and maintenance.
- Know Linux OS administration relevant to database environments.
- Understand security principles and best practices in enterprise-grade Oracle deployments.
- Communicate fluently in English.
