Job description
Working as a DevOps, you will:
- Design and implement new development tools and infrastructure, including CI/CD pipelines
- Streamline and automate development and release workflows to optimize efficiency
- Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaaC) solutions tailored to project needs
- Utilize scripting languages like PowerShell and Linux Shell, conduct code reviews, and analyze test results
- Enhance system security and safeguard infrastructure against cybersecurity risks
- Diagnose technical issues, delivering timely updates and fixes to maintain system stability
- Collaborate with developers and engineers to ensure adherence to best practices and achieve intended project outcomes

Qualifications:
- Proficiency in English (B2) and German (B2/C1) - mandatory requirement
- Strong expertise is required in managing Windows or Linux environments, along with Microsoft SQL Server, and deploying applications on Kubernetes (Helm, Ingress).
- Proficiency is needed in creating scalable, robust, and automated build processes in both local and cloud environments using tools such as Azure DevOps, TeamCity, Octopus, and Ansible.
- Hands-on experience with the Infrastructure as Code paradigm is essential, with Terraform being preferred.
- Detailed knowledge of networking technologies, protocols, and security mechanisms (e.g., Subnets, Firewalls, Routing, DNS, HTTP, TLS/SSL) is expected.
- Familiarity with vulnerability management processes, including patching and remediation strategies, is required.
- Expertise in system patching and platform upgrades, including addressing SSL/TLS vulnerabilities and certificate management, is essential.
- Experience with tools and methodologies for vulnerability scanning, such as Veracode, Gradar, or Qualys, is necessary.
- Scripting skills to automate daily tasks and operations are needed.
- Practical experience with cloud platforms, particularly Azure, is a must, with familiarity in AWS or Google Cloud considered an advantage.
- A minimum of 2-3 years of relevant professional experience is required.
