Technical Product Owner
Job description
Working as a Product Owner, you will:
- Lead product development efforts to maximize value using the Scrum framework
- Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring its alignment with business objectives and customer needs
- Guarantee the product meets functionality, quality, and technical standards
- Collaborate with stakeholders and clients to identify and refine product requirements, addressing both strategic goals and technical considerations, such as system architecture, APIs, and infrastructure
- Propose solutions leveraging best practices or innovative approaches, working closely with business stakeholders, IT architects, and Tech Leads
- Develop and maintain a clear product development roadmap
- Oversee the development team, manage budgets, and nurture relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Monitor and track product progress throughout the development lifecycle
- Act as the primary representative of the team in interactions with stakeholders, clients, and users
- Inspire and propagate the product vision within the development team

Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience as a Product Owner, focusing on both business and technical aspects of IT products
- Solid understanding of core IT concepts such as REST APIs, databases, cloud services, and event-driven communication, alongside familiarity with software development processes and systems architecture (e.g., microservices, monoliths)
- A strong technical foundation with hands-on experience in software development, system architecture, or technical project management, combined with expertise in complex technical systems
- Knowledge of application release management processes
- Proven experience and in-depth knowledge of Scrum methodologies
- Practical expertise with backlog management tools like Jira or Azure DevOps
- Proficiency in Polish and English (min.C1)
- Strong interpersonal and soft skills to foster effective collaboration in a multicultural, international environment
- Openness to occasional business travel
